The resort is situated on a beautiful stretch of coastline covered with Mediterranean pine forests that go all the way down to the endless golden beach backed by sand dunes. To add to its picturesque setting it is nestled behind a sandbank peninsular that creates a natural harbour and inlet for fishing boats and a fantastic place for water sports.
The resort itself provides excellent facilities with driving range, large putting and chipping area, club house, and 4 star hotel with gymnasium, sauna and restaurants. The adjoining town of El Portil provides all the necessary amenities of shops and bars, and restaurants with excellent sea views perfect for relaxing after a game of golf or day on the beach. Situated 30km east of the Spain-Portugal border, and just 10km from the city of Huelva, and with the picturesque E1 Rompido village adjacent and the motorway is on hand it is easy to get to all destinations.
The Costa de la Luz region of the Atlantic coast of Andalucia stretches from the Portuguese border in the west to Tarifa in the south and includes the Doñana National Park and the estuary of the mighty Guadalquivir River. This home overlooks the 4th fairway of a prestigious golf course and has all the facilities you could want for a fabulous holiday in a a beautiful, unspoilt area of Spain known as the Spanish Algarve and only an hour from Faro or 90 minutes from Seville Airport.
Our holiday home is situated in the South West corner of Spain or "Costa de la Luz". It is a beautiful, unspoilt area with a fabulous coastline and mile upon mile of almost deserted golden-white sandy beaches backed by sand dunes and pine trees. There are 320 days of sunshine here every year, so it is suitable for holidays at any time. There are plenty of traditional Spanish towns and villages in the area, but no high-rise blocks - they are strictly banned! The splendid city of Seville is only 1 hour plus away by fast motorway.
Just along the coast is the Donana National Park, full of wildlife and offering safari trips. There are plenty of sports activities, including several golf courses - in fact our holiday home is right in the middle of one of the best!
