Islantilla is a newly built beachfront resort to the west of La Antilla, the old fishing resort. It has a commercial complex with a variety of modern shops and a supermarket. The complex is situated on the beachfront and there are a number of cafés, bars and restaurants that have spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean. There is an excellent promenade to stroll along and take in the views. Along the route why not stop in one of the two marquee bars which straddle the main promenade and have seats overlooking the beach.
